We are a retired couple in our mid-50's. This was our 7th NCL cruise, our 7th this year, and our 38th in the last 10 years.

Embarkation and Disembarkation was a breeze. We arrived at the terminal at 10:30 AM and they began letting us in at 11:00 AM. Check in took about 5 minutes and they began boarding the ship at around 11:45 AM. NCL is now providing passengers with a boarding sequence number like Carnival, we were group 1 just behind the Wedding Parties and Suites. We ate lunch in the Tsar's Dining Room, this is so much more civilized than the the Garden Cafe on embarkation day. Rooms were available at 1:30 PM and our bags arrived before 4:00 PM. Our cabin steward Wilfred and his assistant Annacel called us by name immediately as we walked down the hall. Everything was well taken care of in our cabin, we had our robes, wine, on-board credit, and invitation to the first Latitudes party. Cabin was always cleaned quickly and effectively throughout the cruise. Disembarkation was a breeze with Express Walk-off. We were off the ship by 7:35 AM the day we arrived back in Miami.

Entertainment on this cruise was well above average, and superior to other cruise lines. The Jean Ann Ryan Company production shows are not to be missed, and the last show Cirque Bijou is outstanding. In addition they had an excellent group of guest entertainers (Cats Pajama's Acapella Group, Patrick Murray and Matilda Ventriloquist, and Sam Griesbaum Comedian). In addition the show, pool, and Kenosis were great bands. The Cruise Director Que and his staff were excellent and we had lots of fun between Newlywed, Battle of the Sexes, White Hot Party, and other events they organized.

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

Cabin 9058 was great, mid-ship, just above life boat number 5. It was quiet and had plenty of space for the 2 of us. We love NCL bathrooms on Jewel class ships, the showers are rectangular and you can actually turn around.
