This was my first cruise, and I wasn't keen on the idea. This is a random dump of my thoughts. We sailed about two months ago, but it's all still fresh on my mind.

Arriving at the port and initial boarding was not inspiring and it's obvious that the Enchantment is an older ship, but that quickly faded. I can't imagine the maintenance force they need to keep everything they was they do. At least twice in three days I saw a guy dusting the underside of the railings in between floors in the main lobby area. Also, we went on the all access tour, saw the waste disposal area, and the room didn't smell, come to think of it, neither did any of the other areas we visited. All that to say that though my first impression wasn't grand, I left loving the ship. She is definitely well maintained and Royal Caribbean has a good thing going.

Our room was clean (and I mean really clean) and was visited multiple times a day. Beds and pillows were comfy. Bathroom was tight, but again, always clean. Water was hot quickly, toiletries were good, etc. Our steward(?) went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed.
