We chose this cruise because we wanted a holiday cruise out of Baltimore. The bonus was that it stopped in Martinique. My husband and I met at club Med Martinique in 1974! We swore never to return because it could never compete with falling in love in paradise. However, after 43 years, we were ok and looking forward to seeing it again. We rented a car and drove to club med for a day trip. I do not really recommend it, as it was a hassle to get a taxi to the airport to get a car and another hassle to get a taxi back. It takes an hour to drive each way, which basically leaves very little time at the club med.

The staff was great with enough activities to keep all of us happy, me dancing, daughter trivia, etc. I love to dance and my husband does not! Therefore, it was great that they had line dancing, zumba type or salsa lessons every day so that I could get my dancing in without bothering with a reluctant partner. The staff were very enthusiastic, especially Orlando and Gema. The food was OK, not great, but good variety. The serving staff was excellent, although sometimes much slower than we wanted at dinner. We started saying that we needed to go the the show at 9pm, so that we would not need to stay for more than an hour. We did a Sting Ray excursion in Antigua which we highly recommend. We did a snorkeling , supposedly pirate themed, excursion in St. Thomas. We went for turtles, and only saw one. All in all, the staff was great and tried very hard to keep us all entertained.

Cabin Review

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin H

Average with good storage and nice window. Down side was that our suitcases did not fit under the bed. However, our room Stewart put them behind the couch. The couch was then on an angle, but it worked.

We walked around and found the people wonderful and helpful.
