The views of milford sound were breathtaking and overall new zealand has a natural beauty and is a stunning place to visit.
THE CREW AND STAFF WERE EXEMPLARY IN THEIR HANDLING OF ALL OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND REQUESTS OF THE PASSENGERS
And were all very professional in their given fields.
The dedication of the general cleaning staff and cabin stewards was outstanding. There were always people to be seen in the stairways and corridors wiping down banisters and cleaning steps. Our cabin steward Jeffrey did an excellent job.Very knowledgeable and proud of his work, committed and always had a smile on his face.
We tried the anytime dining on this cruise for the first time . The biggest plus is that if you go at a popular dining time there is no queuing. The down side is that if you like to share a table you may have to wait a little while before a share table fills up and orders are taken. Conversely, the tables for two are not stand alone, they are less than an inch from other tables for two, which means little prospect of a private conversation between two. Other than that, the quality of food on offer was good
Its not good landing in a port on a public holiday. Although the same size as Adelaide the only thing we could do was eat at a nice restauarant, and only a few excursions were running, but not enough to support the influx of 3,000 people flooding in and looking for something to do.
As all of the tours were full, we decided to walk on the beach and have fush and chups
The shop was always busy - hence good food
