We have taken other Christmas cruises in the past for family together time. This cruises was of poor quality. If I had not ever taken a prior cruise I would NEVER be back, I would demand a refund.
Our first couple of cruises we could not leave our cabin for 5 minutes and a steward would come clean it, make beds freshen-up the bathroom. Leave mints or a cute towel critter. This time we were lucky if it was cleaned once a day, we went 2 days with nobody cleaning up, anything or freshening up our living and bathroom areas. The bathrooms stunk like sewage and the Toilet fell off the wall in our children's room when she flushed. She was mortified. The sinks took hours to drain. Yes, we complained, yes we were told it would be taken care of and it was written down. NO it was not taken care of. The toilets in both room had waist rings around it the size of skittles and nobody cleaned it.
The room service took over an hour sometimes to get to our rooms, and the trays were in the hall for a day or more.
