Sail Date: Dec 2017

We chose this cruise having in mind the sailing date, the ports of call and the choice of a direct flight (which was cancelled a few weeks before the departure date). We were hoping for a cleaner ship and an easy to use online site, bit for this trip it was not the case. We had to deal with a last moment change of airlines and to work hard to find out details on the ports of call as the RCI does not provide maps or other important details (such as taxi fares). The stateroom was OK, though the shelves in the bathroom damaged and the shower was lacking pressure most of he time. The fridge, unlike all the other cruises taken with RCI before, was completely empty (cost cutting, I suppose) and the supply of Evian water was really scarce (only small 500 ml Spring water bottles were mostly offered).

What we found to be the worst feature was the dirty, sticky furniture around the ship: chairs even in the main dining room were dirty, flatware on tables looked unwashed - it was a challenge to find clean spots.

Very nice beach (Anse a L'Ane) and very friendly people!

Walking to the beach was the best part!
