This were our first vacations as a family of 3 after a hard year. We are in our 30s traveling with an 8 month old baby. We were hoping to have fun, eat good and receive a good service. We flew one day before and stayed at the hotel in FLL. We arrive to the port by taxi around 11:30 am. The taxi drop us right were the luggage guys where taking the bags. We left all our bags plus car seat, tip the guy and proceed to do the check-in. The check-in was fast and easy, we embark right away. We walk around the promenade and the upper pool decks, wow awesome ship. Went down around 12:30 for lunch at the Park cafe, the place was pack with lines outside. When up to the Windjammer, the line was around until the elevator. Then it was time for the cabins to be ready, they open the doors around 1:15. We went to check out cabin and say hi to our steward. We went down again and ask the guy holding the menu in front of Giovanni's if we could have lunch there. He ask to see our card and said that Giovannis was not complementary (which I knew) and that they were closing and to go to the Windjammer. Went to the Windjammer, there was no line at this time. Terrible buffet, unorganized, tight, chaotic and a repetitive speaker announcement saying "eat and go away"
Food
First morning we had food at Johnny Rockets, no line or waiting time. Services was fast and the ladies were lovely. I remember they were from Ukraine and one was called Yevgenia. Food was okay with a very dry sausage patty. We decide to try the main dinning room for breakfast next day. The breakfast at the main dinning room the first time was good, fast friendly service, servers with smoothies and pastries going around.
Nice and quiet balcony cabin. Starting to show signs of aging with stained ceiling and carpets.
