We selected the Norwegian Gateway because it has excellent handicap accessible accommodations and the staff was excellent with helping us get on and off the ship. The roll-in shower and public handicap accessible rest rooms were the best we have experienced on any ship. We were disappointed with the service we received from the room steward, bar staff, and dining staff and we feel it was because their gratuity was already included in the "cost of services". It appeared to us the staff could care less since they already were going to receive their "tips" no matter what level or service they provided. On the positive side every time we had a question the ship's staff would stop what they were doing and make time to help. For example when we were onshore we stopped two men with name tags and asked for directions for a wheel chair route. We later learned the two very helpful gentlemen were actually dancers with one of the featured shows....we were impressed. Even though we were disappointed with the staff service we enjoyed the cruise. All 21 in our group had a great time and we all plan to cruise with Norwegian again.
