Poor service, cold food, poor food and smelled like an open sewer.

Embarkation was fine. The cabin was well presented and serviced well. Didn't get into Bruge because of bad weather. Entertainment was basic to say the least. Sometimes nearly impossible to get a drink ....even when sat at the bar. We ordered some sandwiches one lunchtime and they never arrived. The food in the Brittannia restaurant was cold and unappetising so we tried the buffet which was exactly the same. My daughter has a severe egg allergy so we informed the waiter at breakfast time. She was served up an English breakfast with the egg scraped off the plate, you could actually see where the egg had been on the plate. I have cruised with 4 different cruise lines and this was by far and above the worst experience. There were 15 of us celebrating my wife's 60th Birthday and every single one said they would never use Cunard again.I don't know if Cunard use the mini cruises as training exercises for new staff but it has put me off totally.Such a shame that such a prestigious name as Cunard has been allowed to serve up rubbish such as we experienced on our trip.
