We were on the Pride for their 2017 Christmas cruise. The ship and crew were wonderful. The crew were always full of smiles and greetings and really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The ship seemed to be in great shape for its age, and we didn't want for anything. The shows were good, but not to our taste. The activities were plentiful and well attended, and we partook in many of them during our week on board. The wait staff was superb (as usual) and the meals were excellent. We have cruised on two other Carnival ships (the 2016 Christmas cruise on the Dream and on the Triumph in 2005). The pride was fun and we had a great time.

The only downsides that I saw were the location that we left from. Baltimore is close, but getting on the ship in cold weather stinks. We were in jackets for the first 24 - 36 hours before we reached warmer weather. Not the fault of Carnival, but it was a bit different.

The second was the debarkation process. We had to evacuate our cabin 3 hours before debarkation and wait. The process on the Dream seemed easier. It was a downer to an otherwise great vacation. We were an out or so late arriving, so that may have had an impact, but I don't think so.
