I chose this cruise because it coincided with my birthday and I had never cruised with Holland America so I wanted to see what they had to offer. There are a few things I really enjoyed starting with the fact that the buffet is contained because everything is served seriously limiting germs. I was very disappointed with the dining room because we chose any time dining and still had to share the only dining room that was not a charge up with the people who had timed dining making dinner time a little stressful. There was also not a lot of activities and this may have had something to do with the fact it was only 3 days, i will probably never know. I had been to the 2 ports before so this was not of importance to me. The other negative was that our cabin had been previously assigned to people who either upgraded or were upgraded but their luggage tags had our cabin number and all of their on board purchases were delivered to our cabin and we had to go to guest services to get this straightened out.
