Carnival Magic - Western Caribbean (Cozumel, Belize, Roatan, Costa Maya), December 23-30, 2017

We had a blast! Everything about this cruise was fantastic. We took a family of 6 (kids 17, 21, 23 with spouse, and parents in their 50s) and there was something for everyone. We sailed on December 23, so Christmas Eve was a fun day at sea, and Christmas day was in Cozumel. Very different way to spend a holiday.

Embarkation was easy. There were lines but the ship holds about 3600 passengers, so there really isn't a way to not have lines. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. We arrived a little before our embarkation time, but didn't have any problems.

Cabin 6A

Our cabin was larger than we expected. Two twin beds pushed together, PLUS a couch and table. The room had two bathrooms, one with a commode, the other with a tub. Both had showers and sinks. The window was big and we loved being close to the water (we were on deck 1 port side, aft). We were near the stairs and elevators and two decks away from the dining room (Southern Lights). Kristian, our cabin steward, was very helpful. We traveled over Christmas and brought decorations to make it more like a holiday. We decorated our door, and were pleased to see that many others did as well.
