Windstar offers an outstanding cruise. The crew and staff, in particular, were friendly and accommodating. The captain was capable and comforting. Our cabin was comfortable and had a large window. The food was spectacular and varied (except Candles). Room service offered and delivered with no questions asked. Internet was quite difficult to access and was very expensive. Laundry charge high (charge/person) but convenient.

The onboard speakers were excellent. More should be boffered and organized for the many days at sea.

Windstsr’s home office is a nightmare. They demanded that we obtain our own VISAs and threatened not to let us on the ship without them. $600 for VISAs for two countries. THEN just a few weeks before we left we received a notice that these could be obtained on the ship at a much less expensive rate, It is impossible to reach anyone on the phone. Upon returning we discovered that one expensive blouse was kept by the laundry. I phoned; no answer, no message returned.
