My husband and I are in our late 50's and early 60's and had reservations about going on a Cruise that we had been informed consisted mainly of older clientele, however we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and have booked again for 2018.
Embarkation and luggage handling was speedy and faultless and our luggage arrived at our Cabin only minutes after we embarked.
The Cabin was as described, spacious, spotless and with air conditioning and Tea and coffee facilities provided.

Superior Outside
Spacious cabin with air conditioning.
Very comfortable double bed.
Goodshower with a small bath.
Everthing very clean and comfortable.
Port Reviews
Southampton
We drove straight to the Port. However we were a little concerned as we were getting closer as it looked as though we were going to drive onto the ship !!!! My husband was panicking.
We were met by several Port Staff with luggage trolleys who took our luggage and car keys from us within minutes of arrival and we walked straight through to Passport Control - so fast and efficient.
Amsterdam
The Balmoral was docked about 5 minutes walk from the main railway station and then it was another 5- 10 minutes walk into Amsterdam itself. So quick and easy to walk we did not need a taxi.
Antwerp
Balmoral was docked less than a 5 minute walk into Antwerp which was a beautiful city to wander around.
