Ship is "chopped up" not senior friendly. Food in the "free" rest. is poor, specialty rest very good. Some of the staff are exceptionally friendly but many are not "passenger friendly" at all. Very difficult in communicating with many of the staff. (language problems) We wanted a Christmas cruise but it wasn't very "Christmassy" at all. The main shows were not very good and seemed to be highly suggestive for a family setting. Our cabin steward was great as was Jenny, a rest. hostess. We truly enjoyed the music pf a trio that was exceptional. Over all we were not very pleased with the cruise. This was our second time (over 12 years) on an NCL cruise and our last. We have cruised on four different cruise lines over the past twenty plus years and, in most cases, there is good and bad with all of them. Unfortunately NCL seems to (us) to lean in the wrong direction.
