I chose this cruise to go to Honduras, Belize, Cozumel out of Port Canaveral. It was for 7 days. I have been on 8 cruises, with 6 being Carnival. I prefer Carnival because it is more family oriented and there is more to do than other cruise lines (except maybe Disney). I did like the ship, it was more updated than other ships. You can look at your photos digitally instead of having to search through hundreds of photos to find yours. There were more choices for food, there was even one for BBQ, which I didn't see until the last day of the cruise. Of course it has all of the usual fun activities. This ship has the Rev Dr. E as the cruise director, if you have never seen him before you will love him!! This is the 2nd ship I have had him as a director and he always makes it more enjoyable. There were only a couple of things I wasn't happy with. I am sure they work their butts off but the entertainment was not as great as other ships. I only went to one show and didn't go back. Maybe they improved but it was not very good. Another issue is with breakfast, need to find a better way to directing people in the morning on the Lido deck. Breakfast was just a mad house, dinner was definitely much easier to maneuver in. And the one thing I was actually disappointed in was my steward. All of the ones I have had I have liked and done an outstanding job. Not so much on this one. I am sure they work hard but this one was not very personable or helpful, didn't have the "warm and fuzzy" feeling. Overall I would take this ship over others, but thought I would give a review
