Just returned yesterday from this cruise and a week at Waikiki beach. We did love the islands and Hawaii, but after saving for 2 years for a once in a lifetime trip, the cruise ship was disappointing. I have cruised before on Celebrity. There is no comparison. The Pride of Aloha had a very dirty food buffet. The hamburgers on deck were always cold, the hot dogs looked like they were days old. Service was very poor. When trying to book an excursion, we were told, No questions asked. Frozen drinks were often runny and melting. If you could even get service to buy a drink!

The beds were very hard and tough to sleep on. The room was cleaned every day to our satisfaction, and we did have some good candy waiting at night.

We tried to make it to dinner at 5:30 to avoid a long line. Still our party of eight ended up waiting a very long time for food, and it was often cold. The lobster we had on formal night was so overcooked we could barely chew it. Most of it was not eaten at all. One night we had a good steak, the next night it was like a completely different cut of meat.
