Loved the islands visited in the Southern Caribbean, but even with the recent retrofit the Norwegian Dawn has a tired, aged feel to it. Food presentation and taste in the Garden Grill bordered on inedible. Food in the dining rooms was unimaginative, and mediocre. Only the specialty restaurants, especial Cagney's and Le Bistro, rose above average.

The cabin was adequate and nothing more. I will give them props for having a larger than expected shower, with very warm water.

The staff throughout the ship was friendly and helpful, and seemed to really enjoy their jobs and interacting with guests. The entertainment was so poor that for most nights we didn't even bother. We made it through the entire cruise never really finding anyone who could really sing on key, although the dancing and stage band was entertaining.
