This was our third Royal cruise and chose the Ovation for both the itinerary and to experience the ship. We were a group of five in 2 cabins, Superior Balcony Rooms on Deck 7. The party was made up of 3 adults and 2 teenagers.

Royal advised us in the days leading up there would be a delay to check in time due to the post, previous cruise clean. Embarkation went smoothly at the allotted time, with the longest delay customs.

We found the ship to be fantastic, great range of facilities and options. The ship was extremely clean and we could not fault their efforts in terms of sanitising the ship. We have cruised on three different lines and have found Royal to be the most proactive in terms of sanitisation and the Ovation the best of them. I understand there was a small break out on the previous cruise but this would not have been through anything Royal did from our observations.
