We did a B2B, Fort Lauderdale to San Antonio, then continued on to Buenos Aires. We chose the first leg because the cost was minimal when compared to airfare to Santiago. We were mostly interested in the second leg, however, because of the mountains, volcanoes, glaciers, seals and sea lions, penguins, guanacos and assorted bird species; the cities were a bonus. That part of the cruise exceeded our expectations - which were very high to begin with - truly an awesome adventure!! We attended several presentations by Mickey Live in the Celebrity Theatre and elsewhere, on wildlife and city options - extraordinary in both his range of knowledge, humor and overall presentation. We have had over 30 cruises to date and, hands down, Mickey is the best ever!! Evening dinners were pretty much as expected with Celebrity - very good, and the Specialty Restaurants that we chose, Tuscan Grille and Qsine, were outstanding. Lots of selection in Oceanview Café for lunches, with a range of cuisines being offered, as well as "special" days featuring Mexican, German and other ethnic dishes; breakfasts great with our favorites being the made to order omelettes and poached egg stations. Our cabins were excellent, and the common areas spotless. We could not see any deficiencies whatsoever. Staff excellent throughout!! The entertainment on board was, for our interests, poor - although other passengers who we met thought most presentations were OK. The ship's Shore Excursions were, in our opinion, overpriced when compared to those available elsewhere, and we did all excursions on our own. On balance, we absolutely loved the itinerary, the ship and our cabins and, in particular, Mickey Live.
