Cabin: The Haven Forward-Facing Penthouse with Balcony

I had stayed away from large ships up until now. And, I have to say that my experience was quite good! The ship actually never felt crowded. Even on sea days there were places to sit in the sun around the pool deck. I felt that the staff was overwhelmed in the main dining rooms but the haven and specialty restaurants were low key and good. I did take advantage of getting off the boat early and being escorted to the shows due to being in the haven. I expected much better entertainment but the Cirque d' Soleil and the Second City troupe were great! I enjoyed the private island which was MUCH improved since my last visit there in 2006! And Pt. Canaveral was a good stop. Someplace in the materials there should be some indication that you can get off the ship in Port Canaveral and just take a taxi to the Kennedy Space Center instead of going by bus. It was economical and it saved time. My one real criticism was that the music throughout the ship was canned elevator Christmas themed music. It was just bad. Either play good Christmas music or just play what you usually play. I had a relaxing and wonderful vacation.

Cabin Review

The Haven Forward-Facing Penthouse with Balcony

Cabin H7

The cabin was large and gave us room to spread out. I was glad to have a spacious place but I was away from the haven area itself so this is why there was a lot of walking. Not really a bad thing but it IS a big boat.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Kennedy Space Center was wonderful

Great Stirrup Cay

Plenty of chairs. Some shady areas. Bring or rent a snorkel mask. You really don't need the flippers. We saw lots of fish. Great day.
