We so enjoyed our round trip up the coast of Norway from Bergen to Kirkenes and back. The ship was good, the food was amazing, the crew are friendly and helpful, our cabin was modern and very comfortable and Norway is incredibly beautiful. We saw the Northern Lights 4 times! I would absolutely love to do the trip again at a different time of year. This is not a typical cruise with a zillion people and all singing and dancing, but one of the ferries which plies it's way up and down the coast of Norway. The Expedition Team give short talk every day about a different aspect of Norwegian life and customs which we found to very interesting. We didn't bother with any excursions, we just planned our own activities and walks when we in port long enough to disembark. If you want to try something slightly out of the ordinary, I recommend a Hurtigruten voyage unreservedly.

Cabin Review

Cabin Artic Superior

This was a great cabin on the 6th deck - at my request when we boarded we were moved here from the 5th deck. There is no external deck outside (unlike the 5th deck) which means there is no one walking or standing around right outside your room giving you complete privacy. Although we were on the loading/car roll on/off side, we didn't hear a thing where we were. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the giant pillows! It was also spotlessly clean.
