I chose this cruise for a family vacation for 9 people. I love Norwegian cruises and had an excellent cruise in July of 17. Sadly, the Norwegian Escape was a let down when it came to service and food quality. It was often difficult to get any help from members of the crew at any time, but especially at the restaurants. The food at the buffet was average at best, food in the technical sense but nothing tasty. The food at the regular restaurants was good, but the service was often poor with several meals taking over two hours. Two hours! We were often wondering where the wait staff had disappeared to. Very disorganized.

The food at the specialty restaurants was excellent and the service was very good.

The staff at the splash academy was outstanding and was the highlight of the trip. My girls first words every morning were, "Can we go to the splash academy now?"

Cabin O2

Other than being a little narrow the room was really nice.

Great trip but the tender to and from the ship took forever
