Cabin: Mid-Ship Oceanview Porthole Window

Cuba was our main reason for the cruise and we were not disappointed. Cuba is an amazing country with friendly people and historical sightseeing. The Sky is a good ship for short cruises. It had nightly entertainment and a good selection of dining. The dining room had Cuban selections while the ship was in port in Cuba. That was a nice touch to introduce the cruisers to some Cuban cuisine. We also had Mexican night at the buffet. The big bonus for the Sky is the unlimited drinks. There were plenty of people taking advantage of that perk. The crew and dining staff were fantastic. All were very friendly and helpful. They really work hard to make sure the passengers are having fun on their cruise vacation. I would not recommend this cruise for families because of the limited activities for children besides the arcade. This cruise is more for adults who need a weekend getaway with friends.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Oceanview Porthole Window

Cabin OF

The porthole window was large enough to view the Spanish Forts along the coastline of Cuba. The room was spacious with a small sofa that pulled out to become the 3rd bed. The bathroom was actually bigger than most ships I've been on. I actually had a shower without banging my elbow on the shower wall.

Port Reviews

Great Stirrup Cay

Great Stirrup Cay was a perfect beach resort for just relaxing and a little swimming. It's a perfect time to unwind after 2 days of touring Cuba. NCL offered plenty of water activities, but we decided to just relax and enjoy the warm sun and beach. The food NCL provided were excellent.

Miami

We spent 2 days in Miami before the cruise. We went to see the Street Art Festival in Downtown Miami. It was a different experience to see many street artists work on the walls of buildings. It's not the normal sightseeing of Miami. We went to Bayside Market to sit and eat along the bay while bands play in the background.
