The Fantasy was a nice ship but the food was terrible! The meals in the dining room tasted like school cafeteria food. Most of it was tasteless, very bland. Our steak was dry and over cooked. We ordered fried eggs for breakfast over-easy and they were way over-cooked and hard. Even the food on the buffet was pretty bad. We had a bacon cheese burger and the bacon literally had no taste, not sure how they did that. I must say the pizza was pretty good. The fruit was over ripe and mushy. But overall, worst food on a cruise we have ever eaten.Our shore excursions however were excellent. We went on a catamaran ride to a reef to snorkel. The crew on the Fury was amazing and the "boat party" on the ride back was a lot of fun. The next day we enjoyed the Mayan Ruins/Cenote trip in Progreso. Our tour guide Venus was really sweet and knowledgeable and our drive Cesar was very professional. Overall our trip was fun but I wish the food had been better.
