Room 17005 - Before you book a room in the Haven ,do your research! Our room was literally 1 room. The toilet, bathtub/shower, sink and bed were one area. No separate shower or toilet area. There was absolutely no privacy. The tub was dangerous getting in and out of and my wife and I are pretty nimble and not overweight. There was one sinl barely the size of my hand. The shower doors kept rattling and keeping us up at night along with the upstairs deck as we were on the 17th deck. The icing on the cake was the balcony which was fully enclosed in glass with a small slider of a window. Unacceptable when you are being charged $6000 for a double. Shame on Norwegian for a bait and switch job and American Express for booking this room. I will say that my kids room next door was fine other than their enclosed balcony. If I were on a lower deck and paid a normal fair, no problem. But don't provide me Kia for a Mercedes price tag. The shore excusion Bamboo Beach VIP in Jamaica was horrible! The beach was very overcrowded and the way it was set up was the representative who works for the tour group was also the server and they wanted you to sit with everyone on your bus. There was mass confusion all the way around and wife ended up receiving her food close to 2:30 , about 20 minutes before we left back to the boat. They took us to a sketchy souvenir shop as well which we all could have done without. Do not book this !!! Food on the ship was like any other cruise on a big ship. Nothing special but ok. Great if you love buffet food. We did like some of the entertainment, especially the dancers. They were very talented. On another positive getting on and off the ship was relatively smooth. To sum it up, this 7 day cruise felt like a 3 week cruise and I was happy to be off the ship.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

The port was much more convenient than other ports we have traveled in and out of.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Grand Cayman is awesome. It's a bit on the expensive side but worth it. Make sure you have plenty of sunscreen as every visit to this beautiful Island has always been very hot.

Great Stirrup Cay

In all fairness to this Island, we did not get off the boat. It did not look like much and at this point in the cruise, I did not feel like another cattle call experience getting on and off the boat.
