Well this was my fourth cruise on NCL but many others on other lines. This was by far the worse cruising experience ever. I had a deck 10 mid ship cabin, which was good as I walk with a cane. Then I got on email saying I could upgrade with a bid for a window or balcony. The picture showed a WINDOW and a BALCONY. I thought why not? I got an email saying I got a window, When i saw the room was on deck 5 next to the maid's supply room I immediately called and said this would not suit me. Told no refunds, I said I do not want a refund just a more suitable room for me as i have trouble waking if I overdo and was facing major back surgery when returning home. Told rudely could not help, asked for supervisor and rudely told I already talked to someone who explained to me there would be no change. I emailed customer service, got a response with a number saying they would get back in 3 days, never happened, tried two more emails no responses. Got on board early and went to the desk, told what do you want we are sailing today, I know people change rooms day of sailing but got no help. So stuck with the room on 5th deck, PORTHOLE and next to maid's supply room. To get to the restaurant had to walk the length of the ship either through the cabin hallway or through the pool with the wind, slippery floors and people running over me.

The buffet is a cattle call, with people pushing and shoving and non handicap people using the handicap tables, No one monitoring this. The food was awful, eggs runny, most everything just barely Lukewarm to Cold. I put chili on my plate and it just sat in a blob, touched it ICE cold. So tried the restaurant, Breakfast good, dinner terrible. Both restaurants had the same menus, no lobster ever offered. Portions small and with no or hard to be seen veggies. I do not eat a lot and came away hungry. Dessert same every night and main menu boring and basically presented badly. Shows OK. Crew polite, I had my 19 year old granddaughter with me, her first time cruising, her response when asked if she l liked it was IF THIS IS CRUISING COUNT ME OUT. Most people I talked to were angry, I met several Platinum cruisers who were furious at the treatment they got. And as people go talking about the prices anger was flying all over. THe prices were all over the map. Some felt cheated. I did not know where I fit in that category as I thought my price was OK, however I got NO PERKS just a basic price. Drinks outrageous and then 20% tip! No quiet movie theater to go relax in, show on big main screen on main deck next to busy bar. WiFI too expensive, we did not get it. Most people were saying there were done with NCL, I know I am.
