Sail Date: Dec 2017
Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

I chose this cruise for my family to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. My husband and I had previously cruised on Oasis and I knew it would offer something for everyone in the family from the grands kids up through my parents (15 people total).

We stayed near Orlando airport (Hampton Inn Gateway) and took an airport shuttle the morning of the cruise (Cortrans). Service with both was excellent.

I was extremely disappointed with the changes I saw in just 3 years. The service level went down considerably, the staff appeared to just not care, and the food quality diminished a great deal. I know that Royal is now a family focused cruise line but I still anticipated there being some locations that were adult only. Sad to say not one location was found. There were children everywhere from the casino, the nightclubs, adult karaoke, and even the solarium.

Port Reviews

San Juan

Enjoyed the tour of San Juan and seeing the progress the city is making in its recovery from the hurricanes.
