We chose this cruise because we prefer to sail out of Port Canaveral, we like the Sunshine overall and wanted to try an 8 day cruise.

Sailing out of Port Canaveral is a great experience since it is very easy to get to from I-95, Orlando and the surrounding area. The port is very clean and has great places to eat before of after your cruise.

The Sunshine is a great ship with a nice layout. The adults only Serenity area has plenty of room available to relax and unwind with three different levels and it includes an adults only pool and hot tub.

Cabin Review

Spa Balcony

Cabin 8S

We absolutely love the Spa Balcony rooms! They are worth the extra money because of the location, style and amenities that you get to utilize in the spa.

Port Reviews

Grand Turk

The island is very small and not much to explore, it was also quite dirty for such a small island. The water was very clear and we really liked that but not a place we feel the need to revisit.

San Juan

Old San Juan is very interesting and the forts are a must see! We wished we had a longer stay in San Juan. We just booked another cruise for next year that includes this port so we can visit again. Do not let the fear of hurricane damage deter you from visiting San Juan. This area has recovered quickly for the tourism and the local people will benefit from your visit.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

Beautiful new port! We took an excursion to the Serenity VIP resort. The tour guides and staff were extremely friendly! They did all they could to make us feel like VIPs. It was a very nice place to relax but the water was very dirty. It was not clear at all and not water to swim in. The workers tried to keep the beach clean all morning long but it was sad to see how much trash was washing up on the shore.
