We'd been wanting to try river cruising and this was our first. We took a Viking ocean cruise to the Baltic last year and absolutely loved it.

As expected, the service was above average, but the food was not as good as we thought it should be. We had a veranda cabin, which we were unfortunately unable to enjoy because of the cold weather. The cabin was smaller than on an ocean vessel, but we knew it would be. The included tours were as expected and the optional tours we took to Heidelberg and Rothenburg were very enjoyable.

We loved cruising the Rhine and seeing all the castles on the hills.

Veranda Stateroom

Cabin B

More than adequate storage. Comfortable bed and good shower. Heated floors in the bathrooms were also enjoyed.
