My husband and I cruise with Royal Caribbean once a year and have been on about 10 RC cruises. This was our 3rd time on the Jewel and it is by far one of our favorite ships. It is bright open and has many windows whether you are in the elevator, the lounges the bars or specialty restaurant you have a great view. The staff and crew are friendly and always great. The ship felt very clean and they were constantly cleaning everywhere.
The have made some changes since our last time on 2 years ago that are great. Vintages is a great addition as well as upgrades to the Grand Suites and other areas. We booked the Ultimate Dining Package which was a first and the food was amazing at Chops, Giovanni's and Izumi highly recommend it.
We are Diamond members and loved both the Concierge Club and Diamond lounge which we very much enjoyed. Diego was our Concierge and he was incredibly helpful and just a great nice guy.
Cabin Review
Grand Suite
Over the years we have tried numerous cabins all the way up to a Owners Suite. We love the spaciousness of the Grand Suite and it's well worth the extra money.
Port Reviews
St. Thomas
Although we didn't take an excursion here we took a taxi to Sapphire Beach and it was lovely. The guys were great and for having just gotten power back 7 days ago the beach bar was open and serving some good food for lunch. Great spot to swim snorkel and grab lunch.
St. Lucia
We did not take a tour but we highly recommend going over to Reduit Beach. It's a great beach with a few restaurants and places to rent beach chairs. The water is really calm.
