I did a transatlantic last year with ncl . It was really good so thought I’d try msc as dates were good. The idea of being first in a cabin was enticing and all pictures looked good.......but what a mistake.this ship was not ready to sail. So many issues to list but the worst were poor sanitation. We had to change cabins as toilet did not flush but you’d find it hard to locate a public toilet that worked. I got fed up with seeing not working notices. Hand washes ran out as did the washing facility the restaurants. They were contioout of action. The biggest issue was the air conditioning levels. In many public places you either froze and then defrosted as you went into another. The result....98% of passengers were ill with coughs colds and throat infections. Shop ran out of cough remedies and there were lines for the doctor. I have never heard or seen so many complaints in my life. I accept that there can be teething problems but this was more like one big abscess. Will never do this again
Cabin shower leaked carpet glue everywhere.food took a long time to come and was more often Luke warm. Waiters did a Stirling job.entertainment was either very good or simply reused the same entertainers in different costumes.if you wanted to walk you had to negotiate chairs pass through the buffet and then endure the smokers area
Most stop overs were on a Sunday or a fiesta day
Changed because of toilet not working then shower leaked as it was unfinished.
Glue remains on carpet
