My husband and I chose this pre-Christmas cruise to celebrate a 50th anniversary with family and friends. In fact we booked the suite about 18 months ago. Friends and family had four other balcony staterooms, all on deck 9. We chose the Harmony for the excitement of a new ship. Royal Caribbean treated us like kings and queens, including organizing a private Mexican food anniversary party on the deck. I will never forget dancing with my husband, son, and two grandsons to the Kenny Rogers song "Through the Years." The Harmony of the Seas is a spotless ship with very happy staff members who seemed very proud of the ship. The suite sun deck was perfect and so was the bar tender Antonio. The suite sundeck area was never crowded. Coastal Kitchen was first class with the best views on the ship. Did not spend much time there though as we ate at Specialty restaurants or called room service. By far the best entertainment ever as the ice and water shows are unbelievable. The family had a fantastic time in the Rubicon. We had rain on the Western but sunshine on the Eastern legs of the trip. Ship only felt crowded on rainy days. STAR class was amazing as was our Genie Daniel Goyeneche who has incredible communication skills. We heard from him ten days before the cruise and he was always calling to make sure our everyday wishes were granted. He fulfilled all requests immediately (with a smile) even helping out our balcony guests in gaining access to shows and excursions. the complimentary Starbucks coffee was a real plus. Embarkation and debarkation was a breeze. We chose the ship as our destination so did not get off ont he islands as we have sailed the Caribbean many times before. We did take a tour of Miami as our airline flight was late on the last day. Turned out to be very enjoyable and informative. Will plan another family celebration for sure but will have to save up for STAR class.

Cabin Review

Aquatheater Suite with Balcony - Deck 9

Cabin A2

First Week 8194-larger balcony was nice.

Second Week-9730 2 Bedroom Aquatheatre Suite: STAR Class. This is a superb suite & balcony for large group private parties, for room service, to enjoy the ocean, to watch the Abyss & Rock Climbing, and to watch the Aqua shows! Noise was not ever a problem. Our room steward Arnet Ashtont was always smiling and kept the room immaculate. Stewards like him are a real treasure. He was always so helpful and anticipated every need. People say the bathrooms are too small but we will give up that space always for the largest decks at sea!
