My fiance and I had not been on a HAL cruise for 15 years and both had fond memories. This was quite different. Three nights round trip Ft. Lauderdale. Ports Nassau, and their private island Half Moon Cay.

My suitcase luggage strap vanished between the time handed to check in porter and my cabin, had my name on it, but was never located and returned to me.

We were the shakedown cruise, the first day after an extensive refurbishment. New carpet smell, and things not totally put back together, cabin 6137, TV remote not work, and when tried to call housekeeping, no phone cord.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom

Cabin V

Spacious bathroom with bathtub. Key card to control room power. Nice deck chairs with foot rest that slid under seats.

Port Reviews

Half Moon Cay

Beautiful long clean beach, sufficient beach chairs, long walk to BBQ lunch. We took shuttle back, no schedule, were told ran one per hour, but a shuttle pulled up just as we were starting to walk back.
