I'll try not to rehash the thousands of other reviews here, but maybe put a spin on it from the perspective of a self-proclaimed foodie who cruised Celebrity for the first time. For background, our most recent cruise experiences were on Regents and Seabourn. We are both 39 years old.

We booked celebrity due to it being a extended family cruise with kids involved. The cost of Regents would be prohibitive for 9 of us and didn't think the kids would enjoy that anyways. Celebrity seemed to me to be a nice blend of luxury and large ship fun. And I think it was the right pick for our trip.

Ship/GYM: I really enjoyed being on a larger ship with lots of spaces to explore and most importantly a large, well equipped gym. There are a lot of good quality Lifefitness circuit machines and not so great quality Technogym cardio equipment. There is a single cable machine. Like most let downs with the ship, it was just too dang crowded in the morning. Another cable machine would have done a lot to improve the situation. Ship was in good shape and appeared clean in all respects.
