We needed a cruise departing/returning Tampa because of employment timing. We are only an hour from our home to being on board the ships. We didn't have the extra time to travel to the east coast. It was a bit crowded at the terminal, but flowed smoothly around 1 pm. Right away we used the interactive mapping available on each deck by the elevators to find everything and how to get to it. Our cabin was ready for us with our pre-purchased excursion tickets, and our luggage arrived shortly after boarding. We always tour the spa first, and book our first appointments. The 10/20/30 percent discount influenced our main decisions. The spa personnel is always friendly and knowledgable, and all of our spa experiences were better than expected. The highlight of our cruise was our excursion to chitchan itza. Although there was no time for shopping and we made every step count to be able to get to the waiting ferry and return to the ship, we truly enjoyed the experience and tour company that provided safe and reliable transportation, as well as the history and knowledge about the ruins and culture that once thrived there. We were pleased with the nightly entertainment onboard, with a variety of comedy and theater productions offered. Our personal service expectations were well maintained. We used the specialty dining package to enjoy the reliable offerings they provide, and ate our day meals in the Windjammer buffet. We both returned home the same weight as when we departed, as daily walking was easy to accomplish on multiple decks of this ship. We travel as a couple, and there were many small children on this cruise around the Christmas holiday. We would sit and watch the families get their photos taken in front of a spectacular tree in the lobby on deck 4, while we enjoyed a specialty coffee creation. The house band that played there was an unexpected delight and they could sing anything well and were what we considered the best surprise of this cruise. We enjoyed the many sunrises and sunsets together on this cruise. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

Our balcony provided excellent ocean views. The bed provided us both excellent rest. There was ample storage and lighting. The shower is a bit snug.

Port Reviews

Key West

We enjoyed conch fritters and 'chowdah' in a local establishment that was delicious. We did all of our shopping here.
