Our first day we boarded the ship and the usual hustle and bustle with all the people boarding, but I'm not a platinum or elite so I just boarded like everyone else, however it went smoothly, I would say less than an hour from getting off the hotel shuttle to taking our picture at the gangway entrance. Once on we headed to our room and settled in with our carry on stuff. I also made a call and asked to be signed up for the Chef's table. Our luggage had not made it until a few hours later (which was really good). I will admit I did sneak on a six pack of water and a twelve pack of diet rootbeer (the only diet drink my wife and I like) and it made it on with us just fine. Since this was our third trip on the Emerald we knew our way around and just had a light lunch and proceeded to the pool for some sun and fun. The Sailaway party was good, and we had a great time.

The second day at Princes Cays was great, a little breezy and only in the mid 70's for a high, but I was not at work and I was relaxing swimming and having a good time. We took advantage of the 2 person clamshell (my wife likes those things) and it was money well spent. We also took the glass bottom boat out to look at the marine life and that was great.

The third day was a sea day so we did the usual Gym visit, light breakfast, and just relaxed. I went to a trivia challenge and we took in a movie, and got ready for our first of 2 formal nights. It was awesome; it was also the day we got a notice that we were selected for the Chef's table, for the following evening. I was excited but it did conflict with the Bavarian night (our favorite) but we all have to make scarifies (haha). We did the normal Formal night stuff and went to a comedy show and had pictures taken. All in all a good evening.

Good size, only issue was the location, the front of the ship really feels the movement in rough seas.
