I will never choose Norwegian Cruise Line again, nor will I ever recommend the cruise line to my family or friends. We chose Norwegian due to the price; next time I will just spend more money to obtain the service I have become accustomed to on other cruise lines. The embarkation process on this cruise was horrendous. The ship itself had a layout that after seven days I still could not make sense of in my head. If you like to walk around ships on the outside...this is not your ship. If you like to utilize the adults only part of the ship...this is not your ship (the adults only is at the back of the boat without good airflow and all you will smell are the diesel fumes). If you are one that likes to get out on the upper deck and lay out in the sun...get up there early as the deck crew seems to like to put up the deck chairs around the time the sun is at its peak. If you like to utilize the gym on cruises in order to have that extra dessert...this is not your ship. My high school gym had better equipment and space 15 years ago. If you are one that likes to "freestyle" cruise (i.e. not plan every minute of every day of your vacation), this is not your ship. If you do not reserve all of your entertainment and specialty dining on the first day of this cruise, you will not be seeing entrainment nor will you be specialty dined. The bar service was seemingly nonexistent (so much for the included beverage package and the value I believed it being included would afford me...so glad I prepaid my gratuities). At the ports of call, this ship seemed to be last in line for docking at the favorable docks; for example, in Jamaica we docked at the trash/industrial dock - that was fun. Another example, in Grand Cayman the itinerary showed we would dock in George Town, instead we docked about 20 minutes away which made getting to seven mile beach take more time and more money for the taxi. The only highlight of this cruise was Cozumel Mexico, where once again we did not dock where we were suppose to dock. However, my husband and I made it to an awesome place called Mr. Sanchos Beach Club via taxi and had the best time of our 7 day vacation.

Cabin Review

This cruise was our first balcony experience. I was unaware that not every balcony was private. Meaning, our cabin's balcony was directly under about 4 other balconies with an open view of our balcony. This was unacceptable to us as we do not like to sit out where other's can stare at us. Thankfully, this problem was resolved the next day and the staff moved us to a private balcony. Note to self, ask for a "private" balcony next cruise.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

We booked our own excursion online prior to the cruise. We took a taxi to Mr. Sanchos Beach Club and had the time of our lives with all-inclusive food and drink. I recommend a reservation.
