From start to finish I was very impressed with NCL and the Epic, having previous experience on 3 other cruise companies. Check in was a breeze, we did have to wait a little time to board but we were early so it was all good. Downloaded the app whilst waiting - highly recommend that and get all your shows, restaurants, tenders etc booked as soon as possible as they soon fill up.

The cabin - had an aft balcony cabin at the end and it was pretty big - could have easily held more furniture. I actually loved the bathroom set up, it meant more than one person could share at the same time and pulling the curtain across resulted in total privacy and a large bathroom area to work in. The sliding doors on the shower and toilet are opaque not see through as suggested by other travellers.

Bars - we had great service at all of them but Maltings was a favourite. Bar tenders were very accommodating and friendly. We were not a fan of the pool bar - just too busy for us but plenty of other options. Read more
