The Volendam physically needs a lot of repairs

For many passengers this was a cruise from hell. The following are most of the problems I was told by fellow passengers-- lots of problems-flooded rooms, pipes breaking, toilets overflowing or not working, water leaking from ceiling in dining room, lower promenade deck even number cabin side with bad smells, air conditioning not working.

I was fortunate that my cabin did not experience any of the above mentioned difficulties.

I did not feel that the entertainment in the theater was good overall.

the young dancers and singers had talent but were not provided with productions that were not good. the comedian was very funny and the singer from australia had a beautiful voice.

the impressionist was not good nor the harmonica playing japanese performer.

the food was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

the front desk staff were extremely nice and Christine was especially helpful to me when i dealt with her.
