We wanted to escape winter for a little while and a southern Caribbean cruise seemed like a great idea. We had never been on a cruise and were nervous about starting with a 12-night cruise. We didn't have any trouble with being sea sick and were able to enjoy the cruise enormously. We will definitely cruise with Royal Caribbean again. The ship was Grandeur of the Seas and it was not the biggest, but we didn't feel that we lacked anything. In fact, the wait staff and entertainment were fantastic. I don't know how we are going to be able to go back to our lives without live entertainment every night and staff to take care of our every need. I guess we need to hit the lotto.

We stopped in St Thomas, Antigua, St Lucia, St Kitts, and St. Maarten.

Some of the islands were demolished by the hurricanes this year but seem to be working hard to get the tourism going again.

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Our stateroom attendant kept the bed made and the room tidy. He also provided an array of artistic creations that we made from nothing but towels. We didn't go on the cruise for these creations, but it was a nice extra that we would never have thought of on our own.
