The ship was nicely decorated for Christmas. This was our first cruise on the Freedom and we immediately loved the decor and the color scheme. On the way to Galveston Carnival called us and said they had a room upgrade available and would we be interested. We took the upgrade from an ocean suite to a grand suite. The room was plenty big, more storage and closet space than we could use. Nice bathroom with the jacuzzi tub and the two sinks were wonderful. It was nice that the two of us could be in the bathroom and getting ready at the same time. The balcony had a reclining deck lounge, a reclining chair, two other chairs and two tables. We had your time dining and ate in the restaurant every evening. The staff we had and the food was excellent every night. Our room steward, Rodrigo, was wonderful, took good care of us and the room. We did tip him extra. The shows in the theatre were also first class, the performers did a wonderful job and were very entertaining. Wonderful cruise and we loved the Freedom.
Nice big room. More closet space than we could use. The wife loved the dressing area and really liked that there was a small sink in that area. The bathroom was plenty big, nice jacuzzi tub and the two sinks were also great. Both of us could use the bathroom at the same time while getting ready for dinner. The balcony was big, one reclining lounge chair, another reclining chair, two tables and two other chairs. The two big windows let in plenty of light, and the mirrors behind the bed gave the room a nice spacious feeling.
