food was above average, but employees, liars, lazy, not service oriented, on lido deck. My set down dining was great naudia , my first week she was assistant but did all the work and then the next week she became lead waiter. My cabin stewart down right has an attitude. I think she hated me the remote I would find in between the bed and the wall. I was told to turn her in but I don't want to get people fired. Over all activities there was not enough to do. I found myself watching tv a lot. Most activities were in the atrium and no seating, if you go all the way up to 8th floor to look down you can't see but a quarter of the floor. For free I would do the cruise again but If I was a paying customer I would not do it. Thank you

Large Ocean View Stateroom
My first interaction was when I was asleep and someone knocking on my door and would not stop even when I said I was coming, this ladies vibes was like she was ready for a fight. I guess others refuse to go to the drill. I told her please don't just keep beating on my door, you have to give time for an old lady to get there. Then the attitude started and she recited herself on how the manual said to knock on the door. ( defending herself when there was no reason to, all she had to say is I am sorry mam, I didn't mean to startle you it is time for the drill.) Then the dirty looks came. Then my extra pillows started being put on the other ladies bed. Oh speaking of pillows, they stink, not all of them, but they stink like dirty oil ducts on an old man. Means you just put a clean pillow case on a dirty pillow. Then the remote for the tv each day would be between the bed and the wall and I would have to pull the bed out to get it. I didn't knock it off either because I would always watch tv while getting dressed. Then second week she wouldn't leave two compass, my cabin mate had words with her several times, I don't know what her problem was, you would have to ask her Oh I think the first week we didn't get any towel animals the second week we got three. The layout of the cabin was great the beds were comfortable but I was left kind of undone, I didn't bring shampoo or soap or toothpaste in which other lines supply, and I thought royal was suppose to be a cut above the rest.

Been there so many times that I've done most the excursions, my favorite is the twister and lunch at isle of murjures. I feel safe and comfortable there.
Costa Maya
It was beautiful and loved having free wifi. It was a bit pricy so the remedy is to not buy anything and that's just what I did. Because of the high price of using your social media on vision of the seas it is hard to book an excursion because you are trying to catch up with friends and family. I would like to see those prices come down like it is on carnival 35.00 for seven days on carnival. Come on royal get with the program. Anyway lovely port.
