Myself and my Husband have just returned from our cruise aboard the Azura. we returned on Sunday 17/12/2017. We had a fantastic time.
we did not take any excursions that are supplied through P and O this is why I can not comment.
when we docked we went a shore every time, the taxi drives can be a pain however once you have run the gauntlet and got through them it was great to explore each island we visited, we went to Antigua, St Kitts ( my favourite) Gaudoloupe, Grenada, (bit dodgy, make sure you have your wits about you exploring here) Martinique, St Lucia, St Vincent and Barbados, Pay a visit to the Boat Yard it was a good chill out and a snorkle included in the price.
We were upgraded to the supperior deluke room it was absolutely fabulous, really big and plenty of room on the balcony to stretch out on your chair lounger, the only thing was that the balcony was overlooked, however this was a bonus as it had no canopy above so every night we sat on the balcony with a drink or two and star gazed and seen many a shooting star.the bathroom was a good size having the shower over the bath rather than a small shower with a curtain.
We had a seperate area to lounge in with a TV also TV in the bedroom area. you get shower gel and flannels also we had a dressing gown and slippers.
we had a great time thank you P and O
The Boat yard was great value for money. 20 dollars each return taxi to the ship, a drink, lounger umberella and a snorkell thrown.
We took a taxi to darkwood bay it was quiet just what we like beautiful beach.
have your wits about you walking around here. we normally dont have an issue. my husband was asked to remove his gold necklace by port security.
