We chose this cruise to join our friends who live in Waco, TX. We were all originally booked for a cruise out of Puerto Rico in 2016, but then Zika came along and we were all forced to cancel the trip due to two expecting ladies. We were lucky enough to get a 2 year credit which we used on this cruise (not easy to get or maintain, but we did it!!). If you do the math right, both couples were travelling with 18m/o tots which added to the fun.

We were all excited to meet up and have a great time but then.. it started with a delayed departure. We, My husband, our 18m/o and I, were flying out of DC the morning of and getting a notification at 9pm the day before saying the ship will be delayed and not to travel to port until we get another notification was impossible for us since our flight was at 7am that morning. Overall, the message was super confusing, I wonder how many people followed the message and missed the ship. We decided to follow our agenda and when we landed, we got another notification saying boarding will start at 3pm??!!..well it did and it shouldn't have. Lines were long, wait area was over crowded. Once we were let in onto the ship, around 5pm, we were told our luggage and reserved pack&play was not to arrive until about 9pm. Another disappointment and we haven't even left the port yet. Luggage did arrive, pack & play didn't - we were told they were all taken or broken (even though we reserved it several months in advance).

Due the ship delayed departure, we missed one of our stops at Grand Caymans (RC blamed in on the weather, but we didn't buy it based on the forecast we checked)- another huge DISAPPOINTMENT. So we only took two stops on a 7 day cruise, ugh... you do run out of things to do, even on this cruise ship.
