I joined a friend on a cruise with her family....I have done about 15 cruises abr 4 of them MSC ..which I was happy with ...they used to have the best entertainment and while heavy on Italian food I found plenty to like American style on previous cruises ..this was different ...food was an issue as was the cafeteria ...super noisy, and jammed ..hard to find a seat most times ...I wanted eggs for breakfast one day and couldn’t find them ! I also was concerned at prevention of Noro Virus...food not served ...visitors using non gloved hands to get pizza etc. easier to prevent issues...dining room was much better but too jammed..the ship itself seemed fine...very pretty crystal staircase ...cabin was fine ...excursions have much more selections...service was super as usual ..all staff very helpful...it seemed to me they have gone more multinational ..a lot of Japanese and Chinese food ...not enough American...entertainment more for young folks than before ...ie one night show was for Michael Jackson and the guy was very good and the same night they had a ABBA show in the center area where quiet piano is usually ...I didn’t stay because there was no chairs even on level 7 ...one big problem was they now allow children under 11 in their parents room without charge ...and kids 6 or 7 to 11 seemed to work great although noisy ...but the little ones were very restless and not fair to them ...will look elsewhere for next cruise ..but I liked the old style MSCp
