Friends and family were going on this cruise. This was my first cruise experience and my spouses second. I was told after thus cruise by my friends that I may be disappointed in other cruises since this one was so very good. The main dinning menu had good variety and the waiters were very good the Maitre d' made sure everything was good. The specialty dining can only be described as excellent.
The entertainment and activities on board was more than enough to keep you busy. Several shows were available. They open the shows up to those without reservations 15 minutes before showtime. Central Park was truly amazing, absolutely nothing like it on a run or the mill cruise ship. In the evenings the Blue Seas duo (guitar and violin) played classical music in the park which was very relaxing.
The only negatives were the crowed elevators which should be programmed better and the slowness of Guest Services. However, if you do your research on the Oasis of the Seas and contact customer services at Royal Caribbean Customer Services before you depart with any and all questions, you will be well informed and should have an excellent cruise aboard the Oasis of the Seas. I would also recommend watching YouTube videos about the ship.
It was comfortable, with a nice view. Bathroom and shower was a little small but manageable. It was keep clean and orderly by the stateroom attendant.
The only problem here was too many vendors selling their products, The lined the pathway almost all the way to the beaches.
A very nice shopping area just off the pier. I was very well maintained. Once outside the shopping area and through the fence things went down hill. We didn't take an excursion in Falmouth, but I believe they all leave from the shopping area.
