We have been loyal Royal Caribbean Cruisers ever since our first cruise March of 2016. After our next NYE Cruise, we’ll be Diamond level in their Crown & Anchor Society.
From the start, typically, embarkation was smooth and easy. Having sailed on the Allure OTS in September and the great experience we had on that ship, our expectations were set pretty high. Freedom and her crew didn’t let us down. We like the extra room and benefits that suites offer so again, we were in a Grand Suite. Our room steward, Marina, was such a pleasure to talk with and very perfessional, meeting our expectations daily. The Concierge Lounge was our afternoon hangout along with several new friends we made on this trip. We’re looking forward to meeting up with them on future cruises. The food too, overall, was very good. We ate in the Main Dining Room most every night. The service by Remmi and Nirrol was perfect and we couldn’t have expected more. Giovanni’s was very good as usual. The Windjammer was good and had a great variety making breakfast and some lunches easy and delicious. Typically, when we go to a new port we explore on our own making mental notes about what we want to see and do on our next visit, then do excursions. The one stop we always enjoy is RCI’s, Labadee. Barefoot Beach is for suite guests and Pinnacle level Crown & Anchor Members. Floating on a mat in warm water with a cocktail is not a bad day....
Great location, minimal noise from above, spacious and our room steward was perfect each and every day. We like the size, closet space and bathroom with double sinks. The only negative is the tub/shower. There is a pretty big step up so one has to be very careful if you have limited flexibility.
Loved the Barefoot Beach!
