We booked this cruise as a re-schedule of the original cruise we booked on August 27, 2017. The original cruise was canceled on the day it was supposed to leave Galveston, Texas for the Caribbean. They kept pushing the departure time back, telling us they were had a delay coming out of the last port. Truth was, they were not allowed into the port of Galveston because of Hurricane Harvey. They kept us on the hook by telling us they were pushing the departure time back; never would give us the real reason.

Found out later they were directed to dock in Florida because of the storm, so there was no way they could possibly make it to Galveston for the planned departure. When the day came for the scheduled departure, they finally had to cancel the cruise.

I understand the reason for cancellation; however, I do not understand why, when they knew good and well, they were not going to be able to made departure time they didn't cancel at that time. Many of the passengers flew into Galveston expecting a cruise only to be told the cruise had been canceled.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

Very happy with the stateroom. We enjoyed coffee on our balcony every morning as we watched the rest of the world go by. We were a little disappointed there was not a plug in the bathroom for a hair dryer, but there were two sets on the vanity in the stateroom which allowed plenty of room for both of us to dry our hair. The lighting in the vanity and the bathroom were both good for putting on makeup.
