I have always enjoyed cruising with Royal Caribbean. They have been great at paying attention to details. However I am sad to say that this cruise was very different. The ship is beautiful. Embarkation was fine and relatively smooth. We had booked a loft suite which is beautiful. Be careful however, they are advertised to have a bathtub but they do not. I would not have booked this suite had I known they did not have a tub. I am a tub person and missed not having one on the cruise. We complained to the concierge and he said we could receive a 20% discount off the next cruise not off of what we paid for this cruise. Then when the letter came it said we would receive 15%. Next problem is we booked the ultimate dinning package and drink package. We found out that it no longer included Izumi which on the web site is indicated that it is included. Another woops. I would still recommend the ultimate dinning package. We did have problems at Chops Grill which in the past had been a favorite We waited 1 hour and 40 minutes to get our food. When it came the steaks were not very good. They were dry and my husbands was cold. All the remaining dinning experiences were excellent. The shore excursions were fine which is all that can be expected since the islands are still trying to recover. While on St Thomas I highly recommend a meal at Greengos. It was amazing. When it came time for debarkation we used the valet service. It was amazing. However, the concierge was very unclear about the process, where to meet and what to do. We had to call 2 times to get the information that we needed. The upselling on the spa treatments is so rampant I almost cancelled my third treatment. The treatments were good, however the 10 minute sells pitch after each was not. I think it is time for us to try other cruise lines.

Cabin Review

Crown Loft Suite with Balcony

Cabin L1

The cabin is amazing. A great view. We could see the Aqua shows from the balcony. However there is not bath tub as advertised. If you are a shower only person the shower is amazing.
